The best Salesloft alternatives in 2026 are Outreach for enterprise teams that want an independent engagement platform with packaged AI tiers, HubSpot Sales Hub for teams that want cadences and forecasting inside the CRM, and Apollo.io for smaller outbound teams that want contact data and sequences at a published price. Close is the pick when calling, not email, drives the motion.
Salesloft has changed more in two years than most sales tools change in ten. It bought Drift in February 2024, merged with Clari in December 2025, and in September 2026 became the single brand for a company that also owns Groove and Clari Forecast. For some buyers that consolidation is the point. For others it turns a sequencing renewal into a platform decision they did not plan to make.
This page is for the RevOps or sales ops lead weighing that renewal. We focus on what a switch does to cadence governance, call and coaching data, CRM activity sync, and the number of vendors you manage. Groove is left off this list on purpose: it now has the same owner as Salesloft, so it is not an independent alternative.

Why teams look beyond Salesloft
Daily cadence work is not usually the complaint. The reasons below are about ownership, packaging, and fit, and each one points to a different kind of replacement.
The merger changes what you are buying
Salesloft now sells Cadence, conversation intelligence, deals, Rhythm, and Clari Forecast as one product line. Teams that only wanted sequencing may find quotes built around a broader platform, and teams already using another forecasting tool face overlap. Roadmap and contract changes are still in progress as the two companies combine.

Drift is being sunset
On March 6, 2026, Clari + Salesloft announced a gradual sunset of Drift and a referral agreement with 1mind. Teams that bought Salesloft and Drift together now have to replace the chat and routing half anyway, which reopens the question of the engagement half.

Security reviews got harder
In August 2025 attackers used stolen Drift OAuth tokens to pull data from hundreds of Salesforce orgs, and Salesforce disabled the Drift integration. It involved Drift, not Salesloft Cadence, but security teams at some companies now ask for a fresh vendor review before renewal.

The phone workflow gets mixed reviews
A Reddit user who likes Salesloft's cadence features called the phone component a little wonky. For call-heavy teams, dialing, call logging, and recording quality matter more than cadence design.

Too much platform for email-first teams
Our Salesloft profile lists small teams that only need cold email as a poor fit, since custom quotes and package add-ons make it expensive for that use. Published-price tools cover email cadences at a fraction of the admin overhead.

Salesloft alternatives
Outreach is the only true like-for-like swap. The others trade enterprise depth for a CRM-native setup, bundled data, a stronger dialer, or a lower price. Each links to a full SalesOpsClub profile.
1. Outreach
Best for enterprise teams that want an independent engagement platform
Who it fits
Large outbound orgs with a RevOps owner who manages templates, sequence permissions, and CRM sync, and who would rather not tie engagement to a forecasting vendor.
Where it beats Salesloft
Outreach publishes its package structure: four Amplify tiers with stated AI-credit allowances from 10,000 to 100,000, plus API call and custom object limits per tier. That gives ops and finance more to plan around than Salesloft's product-by-product quote. It also stays independent of Clari.
Where it is weaker than Salesloft
Prices are still unpublished, and AI credits add a second variable cost. Our Outreach profile cites a Salesforge review analysis in which users called the UI clunky and confusing, and forecasting only arrives in the Pro package.
Pricing
Seat-based pricing plus consumption-based AI credits across Amplify Essentials, Core, Plus, and Pro, with no published prices, per Outreach's pricing page, September 2026.
Best for teams that want cadences and forecasting inside the CRM
Who it fits
SMB and mid-market teams on HubSpot CRM, or ready to move, that run Salesloft mainly for sequences and email tracking.
Where it beats Salesloft
Sequences, calls, and tasks log to the same records marketing and service use, and Professional includes forecasting. For a team that uses Salesloft plus a separate forecasting tool, that can mean one vendor instead of two, with published prices.
Where it is weaker than Salesloft
Cadence controls and coaching features are lighter than Salesloft's, and there is no equivalent to Rhythm's daily task prioritization. Professional and Enterprise carry one-time onboarding fees, and Salesforce shops would be adding a second CRM.
Pricing
Free for up to 2 users. Starter is $20 per seat per month list, Professional $90 on annual billing plus $1,500 onboarding, and Enterprise $150 plus $3,500, per our HubSpot Sales Hub profile, September 2026.
Best for smaller outbound teams that want data and sequences together
Who it fits
Startups and SDR teams of up to about 30 reps that pay for a data vendor and Salesloft separately and want one tool with a published price.
Where it beats Salesloft
Contact search, enrichment, sequences, and a dialer on one per-seat price, with a free plan to test data on your ICP. G2 reviewers in our Apollo profile praise its filters and data accuracy.
Where it is weaker than Salesloft
No conversation intelligence or coaching depth to match Salesloft, and reporting is thinner. Credits reset each cycle and mobile numbers use more credits than emails, so model usage per rep.
Pricing
Free plan, then Basic at $49, Professional at $79, and Organization at $119 per user per month billed annually, per our Apollo.io profile, September 2026.
Inside sales and SDR teams under about 50 reps where the phone is the main channel and the CRM can be replaced along with the engagement tool.
Where it beats Salesloft
Calling, SMS, email, and sequences are native to the CRM, with a Power Dialer from Growth and a Predictive Dialer on Scale. If Salesloft's phone workflow is the pain point, Close puts the dialer at the center rather than on the side.
Where it is weaker than Salesloft
Close is a CRM, so switching means a CRM migration, not only an engagement swap. Reporting is basic for ops-heavy teams, and calling minutes are billed on top of seats.
Pricing
Solo at $9, Essentials at $35, Growth at $99, and Scale at $139 per seat per month on annual billing, with calling billed by usage, per our Close profile, September 2026.
Best for mid-market SDR teams that want multichannel without enterprise overhead
Who it fits
SDR teams that use Salesloft for email, LinkedIn, and call steps but not for coaching or forecasting, with a manager who can administer the tool part time.
Where it beats Salesloft
Published prices and a 14-day trial. The Multichannel plan includes one LinkedIn account and calls and SMS per user, so the channels Salesloft cadences cover are available without a custom quote.
Where it is weaker than Salesloft
Governance across many pods, coaching, and call analysis are well short of Salesloft. Plan it as a sequencing tool, not a revenue platform.
Pricing
Email Volume from $59 a month and Multichannel from $99 per user a month, with LinkedIn at $69 per account and Calls & SMS at $29 per user as add-ons on other plans, per Reply.io's pricing page, September 2026.
Small SDR teams that need email cadences, a dialer, and CRM sync and are paying for Salesloft features they do not use.
Where it beats Salesloft
Published per-user pricing, with call coaching, live transcription, and AI call scorecards on the Plus plan. That covers a slice of Salesloft's coaching use case at a known price.
Where it is weaker than Salesloft
Smaller vendor, lighter governance, and one independent review flags billing issues. Get cancellation and seat-change terms in writing.
Pricing
Starter at $50 a month, Growth at $70 per user a month, and Plus at $99 per user a month on annual billing, with a 14-day trial, per Klenty's pricing page, September 2026.
Best for aEs and account managers who only need inbox tracking and templates
Who it fits
Post-sale and closing roles that were given Salesloft seats for email tracking and simple campaigns, and that work in Gmail or Outlook all day.
Where it beats Salesloft
It stays in the inbox, so there is almost no behavior change, and the per-user price is low. Moving these seats off Salesloft can shrink the enterprise contract to the SDRs who actually run cadences.
Where it is weaker than Salesloft
It is not a replacement for SDR cadences at volume. Full Salesforce sync sits in Enterprise, and setup varies by email client, so test on your standard environment.
Pricing
Free plan, then Pro at $15, Premium at $35, and Enterprise at $65 per user per month on annual billing, per Yesware's pricing page, September 2026.
Separate the decision into two questions: do you still want engagement and forecasting from one vendor, and which roles actually need a full engagement seat? The answers usually split the shortlist cleanly.
1
Map what the merger means for your contract
Ask Salesloft which products your renewal quote includes, how Clari Forecast is priced with or without Cadence, and what changes for Drift or Groove logins. Get the answers in writing before you compare alternatives.
2
Segment seats by role
SDRs running cadences need a full engagement tool. AEs and account managers often need only tracking and templates. Pricing each group separately often cuts cost more than switching vendors.
3
Test the phone and coaching workflow
If calls matter, run a week of real dialing in each finalist: logging, recordings, and dispositions. If managers coach from call data, check where that data will live after the switch.
4
Keep forecast inputs intact
List the activity and stage fields your forecast uses, and confirm each alternative writes them to the CRM the same way. Gaps here show up weeks later as a weaker forecast.
5
Run a parallel cycle
Move one pod first, rebuild its top cadences, and compare reply and meeting rates for a full cycle before cutting over everyone.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best alternative to Salesloft?
Outreach is the closest like-for-like option for enterprise teams. HubSpot Sales Hub suits teams that want cadences in the CRM, Apollo.io suits smaller teams that want bundled data, and Close suits call-heavy inside sales teams.
Did Salesloft merge with Clari?
Yes. The merger closed in December 2025, and in September 2026 the combined company began operating under the Salesloft name. Clari Forecast and Groove are now part of the Salesloft product line.
Is Groove a Salesloft alternative?
Not anymore. Groove was acquired by Clari in 2023 and now has the same owner as Salesloft, so moving to Groove does not change your vendor.
Is Outreach better than Salesloft?
For core cadence work they are close. Outreach publishes its package structure and AI-credit allowances, while Salesloft brings Clari Forecast into the same contract. Our Outreach vs Salesloft comparison covers the tradeoffs.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Salesloft?
Yes. Apollo.io starts at $49 per user a month on annual billing with a free plan, Reply.io's Email Volume plan starts from $59 a month, and Yesware Pro is $15 per user a month for inbox-only roles (vendor pricing pages, September 2026). Salesloft does not publish prices.
What happens to Drift customers?
Clari + Salesloft announced a gradual sunset of Drift in March 2026 and a referral agreement with 1mind. Ask Salesloft for your access end date and exit terms.
